Danbury is the seventh largest city in Connecticut and is adjacent to the Still River in the Berkshire Hills in Fairfield County, bordering the Candlewood Lake resort area. Danbury is near the metropolitan area of Bridgeport and is home to over 79,000 people. Danbury provides a thriving business center, excellent schools, a host of leisure activities, and is home to Western Connecticut State University.
